Are you referring to the Tech Shop? It's designed to be used by members, either for business or personal use. The Shop provides B.U.S. (Basic Use and Safety) classes to learn how to use the machinery. The classes are more affordable. All the equipment use is scheduled, so reasonably everyone gets a shot at it.

My primary problem with the Tech Shop is that I want to find something to do with all this cool machinery. At the moment, none of my projects require any of this stuff, but I'd sure like the option.

Aaron: You can not use these two words together; horribly cliché, think about it. Comment - this geo. area is a prototyping zone: i.e. many small companies can afford to subscribe to this kind of facility. You might not get any time.
Plus, many of these machines require expertise. Talk to me about this; I think we can come up with a creative solution that suits your needs and wants. Happy unbirthday.
