Buy Cool Stuff!
I enjoy my blogging about here, and I like to do cool stuff like write A Beginner’s guide to making an Arduino Shield PCB or The Arduino Starter Kit Rundown. And it’s great that people find this stuff so helpful. Some of my projects cost me money and I figure why hog all the fun for myself? The prices vary, but right now I’m putting a flat rate of shipping to $3 in the US. (If you are outside the US, please contact me.)
Below are some things I’ve created. If you’re interested in buying them, I’m interested in selling them to you. Depending on the level of interest I get I may be able to sell these at a better price too! Let me know any questions or comments about anything here.
On to the hocking!
Arduino Protoshield Kit
This got its start when I wanted to have an Arduino Shield I could use for prototyping servos. The PCB allows connections from the 12 digital pins to servo headers and all pins have been broken out into screw-driven terminal blocks. A 3-pin header allows switching between The Arduino’s power source or a separate power source if you’d like to do so. Included with the PCB are 8 three-pin screw terminals, 3 two-pin screw terminals, a set each of 8-pin and 6-pin long tail headers so you can plug this right on top of your Arduino and still have 0.1″ pin access! On top of all that, the center of the board is covered with 0.1″ solder-able holes for prototyping and a Vcc and Ground strip running through the center for easy access.
This is the 3rd version of this board and it comes in an absolutely gorgeous blue.
(Color and position length of the terminal blocks may vary. I’m looking for the best price on these. Whatever the case, you’ll get blocks that will plug into the board and be usable.)
